Sponsor to Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team

We are please to announce that Samwell have built sponsorship with Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team (The Netherlands) in 2010. We supplied RUGGEDBOOK 8.9” Rugged Tablet PC SR820 for tracking the boat and monitoring the performance of the boat.

About Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team   

The Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team is a student project connected to the Technical University of Delft. The main goal is to design and build a solar powered boat to compete in a number of races. The main race is the Frisian Solar Challenge, the world cup for solar powered boats, which will take place in the Netherlands during 4-11 July 2010. Solar Boat Team won victorious in the last two editions in 2006 and 2008.

Ideas about sponsor SR820 to Solar Boat Team

With the increasing problem of global warming, the green issue is highly related to technology development. RUGGEBOOK is also involved with this. Therefore, while the Delta Lloyd Solar Boat Team contacted us, we were attracted to the idea and action, and would like to supply SR820.
